WEFtec is a tradeshow event that is based on water quality solutions, primarily wastewater or municipal. It is considered one of the largest in the US for this type of event.
Pentair has participated in these shows in the past; however, this was the first show since COVID times, and it came back to fruition with a big bang. During this year we had quite the kickoff with new products, technologies, and services that we wanted to showcase that year. Primarily the "Next-Gen Submersible" pump had been fully released with a campaign revolving around our mascot character based on the product Dee Molisher.
The solution to this booth was to create an engaging experience with Dee Molisher as our lead to promote the new products and services that Pentair provided since the last time we attended.
The theme of baseball was decided by our marketing team as it revolved around the idea of Dee Molisher being a Wastewater All-Star and having a committed team working in the field and supporting the fans out there. Pentair is also supported with BABA (Build America, Buy America), so it ties into the whole US theme of the sport.

A Living & Breathing Pump Mascot
With the launch of the Next-Gen Submersible came our mascot Dee Molisher, who is based on the product and is our Wastewater All-Star. We decided to create a mascot costume based Dee that would assist with drawing in the audience.
Motion Graphics for the Video Intermissions
While originally used for the "Next-Gen Highlight Reel" we used that video for intermissions. The highlight was called "Pump Zone" which was a sports-like segment that highlighted the Next-Gen pump in action with statistics supporting the product.
